Q1. In terms of the work you do, what aspects are you most passionate about? Why?
Q2. What do you consider some of your biggest professional and personal accomplishments? How did your attributes contribute to those accomplishments?
A2. I definitely say it was when my first novel was published. I did not want just to self-publish as I had done it before. But with such competitive market - it is difficult to find a home for so many stories which are daily written. I had received so many rejections that I was feeling hopeless. Somehow, I did not give it up, and this is something I am very proud. Apart from all difficulties: little time to write, rejections, low payment, all the marketing needed – I am very proud of the results with Open/Pierre´s journey after war which published at the end of last year by web-e-book.com. Pierre lost his family in the air bombardments in France during WWII. In great emotional pain, he starts a long journey through Africa and India. There is something very peculiar I love about Open, and it is the recurrent subject about people´s last wishes. No one seems to talk about this topic anymore.
Q3. What is your dream for the future?
A3. I have to finish editing Mademoiselle-Sur-Seine – my second novel which shall be available soon. I am very happy with the plot and looking forward to a tremendous success. There is nothing that makes an author happier than good reviews and good sales. The novel tells the story of Louise who is a middle-aged woman with a successful career at her marketing agency in NY. On the verge of a stress breakdown, her doctor advises her to take a break, perhaps a month-holiday in a Thermal Spa or at any isolated place. She travels to small village in France where she meets Madame-Sur-Seine. Madame was a famous Cabaret dancer who lived in Paris during the glorious years. Louise is immediately fond of her and thinks she can help her in her personal relationships - especially with men. What starts as a daily teatime meeting becomes a whole training month on pleasure, self-love and freedom. Louise feels very sexy and appealing – like she never felt before. Eager to thank the secretive Cabaret dancer before flying to N.Y., she does not understand why no one answers the door when she knocks at it. She returns to her work, but she cannot forget Madame. She reaches two of Madame´s best friends from the time they worked in the Cabaret. It may be turned into a book series. And there is another one which is a thriller and called Zero Chance - it is a mix of fiction and non-fiction about women who were killed by their partners.
