WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends—the Gladers. But it’s finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.
What WICKED doesn’t know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it’s enough to prove that he can’t believe a word of what they say.
Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He’ll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.
The time for lies is over.
My Review*
This book was definitely better than the previous in the series, The Scorch Trials, in which all they seemed to do was walk. In The Death Cure, the kids were on the defense towards Wicked and were tying to end the testing that was going on. The were fighting to remember what is real, what is not and also to get free.
Even though I enjoyed this book better than The Scorch Trials, I didn't like the ending. Is it possible for a group of kids to overtake a group of adult scientists to save the world?
